Zusammenfassung:To provide an image forming device with which the freedom of inter-transfer distance increases and color drift is few owing to a simple structure.SOLUTION: A first inter-transfer distance between a first transfer position and a second transfer position adjacently located along an intermediate transfer belt and a second inter-transfer distance between the second transfer position and a third transfer position adjacently located along the intermediate transfer belt have a different inter-transfer distance. When it is assumed that A represents the distance the prescribed position of the intermediate transfer belt moves when a drive rotor rotates one revolution, N represents the number of revolutions that the drive rotor rotates while the prescribed position of the intermediate transfer belt moves the inter-transfer distance (N=integer), and i represents a speed transmission ratio between a first drive transmission member and a second drive transmission member, then the first inter-transfer distance is set to N×A and the second inter-transfer distance is set to N×A±N×A/i.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 本発明は、転写間距離の自由度が増し、簡単な構成で色ずれの少ない画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】 中間転写ベルトに沿って隣設された第1の転写位置と第2の転写位置との間の第1の転写間距離と、中間転写ベルトに沿って隣設された第2の転写位置と第3の転写位置との間の第2の転写間距離と、は異なる転写間距離を有し、駆動回転体が1周回転したときに中間転写ベルトの所定位置が移動する距離をAとし、中間転写ベルトの所定位置が第1の転写間距離を移動する間に駆動回転体が回転する回転数をN(Nは整数)とし、第1の駆動伝達部材と第2の駆動伝達部材との速度伝達比をiとしたとき、第1の転写間距離を、「N×A」に設定し、第2の転写間距離を、「N×A±N×A/i」に設定したことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図2
