Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method for manufacturing a damper that can reduce a shaft length of a junction part between a piston rod and a piston mechanism.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a damper includes the steps of: providing a nickel-based amorphous alloy 37 to a connection part 21 between a piston rod 3 and a piston mechanism 11; and joining the piston rod 3 to the piston mechanism 11 at the connection part 21 with pulse energization while compressing them in an axial direction, thereby joining the piston rod 3 to the piston mechanism 11. Thus, the method can reduce a shaft length of the connection part 21 as compared to existing manufacturing methods using a screw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
