To provide a decomposition method of a development device having a regulation member for regulating developer, which is fixed to a frame body by a fixing member, and a cover member attached to the regulation member so as to cover the fixing member.SOLUTION: There is provided a development device decomposition method. The development device comprises a frame body for housing developer, a developer carrier, a regulation member for regulating the developer which is carried by the developer carrier, and a fixing member for fixing the regulation member to the frame body. The fixing member has a pressing part for pressing the regulation member. The development device includes a cover part attached to the regulation member, for covering at least a part of the pressing part.
