Zusammenfassung:To provide a shield excavator and a shield construction method, for constructing continuous shield tunnels by using both muddy water type and muddy soil pressure type construction methods.SOLUTION: There is provided a shield construction method in which excavation is performed by a muddy water type or a muddy soil pressure type excavation method depending on ground conditions. When switching the excavation method from the muddy water type to the muddy soil pressure type, with the excavation of a shield excavator 1 stopped, bentonite plastic material is supplied to a chamber 21 and muddy water is discharged from muddy water discharge ports 41 and 51, and the muddy water in the chamber 21 and in a screw conveyor 5 is replaced with the bentonite plastic material, and then excavation is performed by the muddy soil pressure type construction method. When switching the excavation method from the muddy soil pressure type to the muddy water type, with the excavation of the shield excavator 1 stopped, the screw conveyor 5 is used to discharge the excavated earth and sand in the chamber 21 and supply muddy water into the chamber 21 to replace the plastic fluidization earth and sand in the chamber 21 with the muddy water, and after that, the excavation by the muddy water type construction method is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】泥水式および泥土圧式の両工法による連続したシールドトンネルを施工するためのシールド掘削機およびシールド工法を提供する。【解決手段】地山状況に応じて掘削方式を泥水式または泥土圧式にして掘進するシールド工法である。掘削方式を泥水式から泥土圧式に切り替える際には、シールド掘削機1の掘進を停止させた状態で、チャンバー21にベントナイト可塑性材を供給するとともに泥水排出口41,51から泥水を排出して、チャンバー21内およびスクリューコンベア5内の泥水をベントナイト可塑性材に置換した後、泥土圧式による掘進を行う。掘削方式を泥土圧式から泥水式に切り替える際には、シールド掘削機1の掘進を停止させた状態で、スクリューコンベア5を利用してチャンバー21内の掘削土砂を排出しつつチャンバー21内に泥水を供給して、チャンバー21内の塑性流動化した土砂を泥水に置換した後、泥水式による掘進を行う。【選択図】図2
