To provide a vehicle seat capable of suitably protecting a passenger against impact from a seat width direction while suppressing enlargement of the seat in the seat width direction.SOLUTION: A support member 4 provided in a vehicle seat for supporting a passenger from a lateral side comprises: an inside plate 40 attached to the inside of a side frame 32 in a seat width direction; an outside plate 42 attached to the outside of the side frame 32 in the seat width direction; and a connection plate 41 for connecting the inside plate 40 and the outside plate 42 on a seat front side.
