Zusammenfassung:	To provide a fatty acid metal salt-based material for firing which has a small viscosity change relative to a temperature change and has good film formability.SOLUTION: A material for firing includes divalent metal salt of a fatty acid mixture of a saturated branched chain fatty acid (A) having a carbon number of 4 to 10 and a saturated straight chain fatty acid (B) having a carbon number of 4 to 10. A mass ratio ((A)/(B)) of the saturated branched chain fatty acid (A) to the saturated straight chain fatty acid (B) in the fatty acid mixture is 90/10 to 10/90.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】温度変化に対する粘度変化が小さく、成膜性の良い脂肪酸金属塩系の焼成用材料を提供する。【解決手段】焼成用材料は、炭素数４〜１０の分岐飽和脂肪酸（Ａ）と炭素数４〜１０の直鎖飽和脂肪酸肪酸（Ｂ）との脂肪酸混合物の２価金属塩を含む。脂肪酸混合物における分岐飽和脂肪酸（Ａ）の直鎖飽和脂肪酸（Ｂ）に対する質量比（（Ａ）／（Ｂ））が９０／１０〜１０／９０であることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
