SUPPORT DEVICE AND WIRE MATERIAL FEEDING DEVICE

To provide a support device which can reduce a work load of a work for rotatably supporting a winding core member around which a wire material is wound, and a wire material feeding device provided with the support device.SOLUTION: A support device 2 that floats bobbins 8 having disk parts 82 provided on both ends of a winding shaft 81 around which a wire material 9 is wound from a trestle 10 and supports the bobbin 8 includes a roller head 22 having an outer peripheral surface 221a at least a part of which is formed in a tapered shape, and a movement mechanism 29 which fits the roller head 22 into a shaft hole 80 of the bobbin 8. The support device 2 floats the bobbin 8 from the trestle 10 by the outer peripheral surface 221a formed in the tapered shape by fitting the roller head 22 into the shaft hole 80.
