Zusammenfassung:	To provide a storage and transportation method and a system for pellet capable of preventing spontaneous fire of pellet and allowing storage and transportation of the pellet to be carried out in low cost and in a simple manner.SOLUTION: A storage and transportation system is provided with: a lidded container to receive and store ligneous or herbaceous pellet; and a vehicle to transport the lidded container in which the pellet has been received from a storage place of the pellet to consumption facilities. The vehicle is a vehicle travelable on a highway and the lidded container has a size loadable on the vehicle travelable on the highway.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ペレットの自然発火を防止するとともに、ペレットの保管、輸送を低コストで簡易に行うことを可能とするペレットの保管・輸送方法及びシステムを提供すること。【解決手段】木質又は草本系のペレットを収容し保管するための有蓋コンテナと、前記ペレットを収容した前記有蓋コンテナを、該ペレットの保管場所から消費施設まで輸送するための車両とを具備する。前記車両は、公道を走行可能な車両であり、前記有蓋コンテナは、公道を走行可能な車両に積載可能なサイズを有している。【選択図】図２
