To provide: an electrolytic solution for secondary batteries in which the original freezing point of an electrolyte solvent is depressed; a secondary battery including the electrolytic solution for secondary batteries; and peripheral articles thereof.SOLUTION: An electrolytic solution 10 for secondary batteries provided by the present invention includes an electrolyte, an electrolyte solvent 14, and a porous body 12 having pores with an average pore size of 3 nm or more and 100 nm or less. The porous body 12 may be included in a proportion of 0.5 pt.mass or more and 50 pts.mass or less with respect to 100 pts.mass of the electrolyte solvent 14.
