Zusammenfassung: | To provide portable information equipment that can improve the appearance quality by using a bezel member and prevent interference of the bezel member to a display, and a method of manufacturing the portable information equipment.SOLUTION: Portable information equipment 10 comprises a pair of housing members 12A and 12B, a hinge mechanism 19 rotatably connected to the edges of the pair of housing members 12A and 12B, a foldable display 16 provided over an area between inner surfaces 12Ac and 12Bc of the pair of housing members 12A and 12B, and a bezel member 22 provided so as to stride over an outer peripheral edge 16b of the display 16 and an outer peripheral edge 23 of the housing members 12A and 12B and arranged at a distal side from the rotation center of the hinge mechanism 19 on the inner surfaces 12Ac and 12Bc of the housing members 12A and 12B. The bezel member 22 has a core material 24 fixed on the outer peripheral edge 16b of the display 16 and the outer peripheral edge 23 of the housing members 12A and 12B, and a surface material 25 provided on a surface of the core material 24 and formed of an elastic material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
