To provide a mirror device that is less likely to be elongated with a vertical length, and to provide a cover.SOLUTION: A mirror device 1 includes a mirror 2, a sash 3, an illumination part 4 and a cover 5. The sash 3 has a groove 30 having a front piece 31, a mid-piece 32 and a rear piece 33 and into which an end of the mirror 2 is inserted. The illumination part 4 has an electrical wire 41 and is fitted at a front face 311 of the front piece 31 of the sash 3. The cover 5 covers ends in a direction of the groove 30 of the sash 3 and the illumination part 4. The cover 5 has an electrical wire passage 50 through which the electrical wire 41 passes.
