To provide a lens drive device with which assembly work can be efficiently carried out.SOLUTION: The lens drive device comprises: a first holder constituted so as to be capable of holding a lens unit; a second holder provided in the periphery of a lens folder; a support member for elastically supporting the first holder with respect to the second holder; and an actuator, including a coil having a winding disposed in the first holder so as to enclose the lens unit and a magnet provided in the second holder so as to face the coil, for moving the first holder in the direction of the optical axis to the second holder.
