Zusammenfassung:To provide a boiler capable of protecting a heat transfer pipe even in a case where a giant external force of an earthquake, etc., acts thereon.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a boiler (1) enclosed by multiple membrane walls in which a heat transfer pipe in which a fluid flows and a tabular membrane bar extending in an extension direction of the heat transfer pipe are alternately joined. In a connection part (X) between a sub sidewall (33) disposed at an upstream side of the fluid flowing in the heat transfer pipe and a cage sidewall (43) disposed at a downstream side in the multiple membrane walls, a notch (511) which is notched in the extension direction is formed in a stop end portion (51) of a membrane bar (5), and the membrane bar (5) is joined to outer peripheral surfaces (30A and 40A) of heat transfer pipes (30 and 40) by bevel welding in the stop end portion (51).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】地震等の巨大な外力が作用した場合であっても、伝熱管を保護することが可能なボイラを提供する。【解決手段】内部を流体が流れる伝熱管と当該伝熱管が延びる方向に延在する板状のメンブレンバーとが交互に接合された複数のメンブレン壁で囲まれたボイラ(1)であって、複数のメンブレン壁のうち伝熱管の内部を流れる流体の上流側に配置された副側壁(33)と下流側に配置されたケージ側壁(43)との取合部(X)において、メンブレンバー(5)の止端部(51)には、延在方向に向かって切り欠かれた切欠き(511)が形成されており、かつ、メンブレンバー(5)は、止端部(51)では開先溶接により伝熱管(30,40)の外周面(30A,40A)に接合されている。【選択図】図3
