Zusammenfassung:To provide an iron sleeper that has excellent workability during laying work, can prevent corrosion in the ballast filling space after installation, and has long life and excellent durability.SOLUTION: An iron sleeper 100 comprises: a top plate 1 to which rails R, R are fastened; a front plate and a rear plate 3 extending downward from the front edge and the rear edge of the top plate 1 respectively; a left side plate 6 and a right side plate 7 extending downward from a left side edge 4 and a right side edge 5 of the top plate 1 respectively. A cushioning material 10 made of elastic synthetic resin is arranged on a lower surface 1c of the top plate 1 located on the ceiling of a ballast filling space 8 formed below the top plate 1 when laid on a track bed. The cushioning material 10 is attached to the lower surface 1c of the top plate 1 with an adhesive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】敷設作業時の施工性に優れ、施工後のバラスト充填空間内の腐食を防止することができ、長寿命で耐久性にも優れた、鉄まくらぎを提供する。【解決手段】鉄まくらぎ10は、軌条R,Rが締結される上面板1と、上面板1の前縁部並びに後縁部からそれぞれ垂下状に延設された前面板並びに後面板3と、上面板1の左側縁部4並びに右側縁部5からそれぞれ垂下状に延設された左側面板6並びに右側面板7と、を備え、道床に敷設したとき上面板1の下方に形成されるバラスト充填空間8の天井に位置する上面板1の下面1cに弾性合成樹脂製の緩衝材10が配置されている。緩衝材10は接着剤を介して上面板1の下面1cに貼着されている。【選択図】図3
