The remodeling method of the liquid column type absorption column includes: a scattering device additionally disposing step additionally disposing a scattering device constituted so as to scatter the washing liquid downward at an upper position than the liquid column nozzle; and a washing liquid supply line additionally disposing device additionally disposing at least one washing liquid supply line for supplying the washing liquid to the scattering device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
