Zusammenfassung: | To provide a secondary battery which suppresses capacitance decrease and resistance increase under a high-temperature environment.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a secondary battery comprising: an electrolyte; a cathode containing a cathode active material capable of inserting or desorbing anions in the electrolyte; an anode containing an anode active material capable of inserting or desorbing cations in the electrolyte; and a separator separating the cathode and the anode. Processing is performed on the secondary battery for reducing a potential of the anode by using a first electrolyte consisting of a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a phosphorous compound and after this processing, in a state where the first electrolyte is removed, charging/discharging processing is further performed thereon by a second electrolyte consisting of a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a boron compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
