CONTROL DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

To control an intake/exhaust valve which can increase a force for holding an engine stop state, in a control device of an internal combustion engine having a variable valve mechanism for making a valve-opening characteristic of the intake/exhaust valve variable.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine controls the internal combustion engine having a variable valve mechanism for making a valve-opening characteristic of an intake/exhaust valve variable. The control device performs holding-force increase processing for increasing a force for holding an engine stop state in an engine stop process. In the holding-force increase processing, the control device controls the intake/exhaust valve in a valve-closing stop state in the vicinity of an exhaust top dead point with respect to a cylinder in which an intake stroke comes at a start of the holding-force increase processing, holds the valve-closing stop state of the intake/exhaust valve with respect to a cylinder in which a compression stroke comes, also holds the valve-closing stop state of the intake/exhaust valve with respect to a cylinder in which an expansion stroke comes, and controls the intake/exhaust valve into the valve-closing stop state in the vicinity of an expansion bottom dead point with respect to a cylinder in which an exhaust stroke comes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】吸排気弁の開弁特性を可変とする可変動弁機構を備える内燃機関の制御装置において、エンジン停止状態を保持する力を増大可能な吸排気弁の制御を行えるようにする。【解決手段】内燃機関の制御装置は、吸排気弁の開弁特性を可変とする可変動弁機構を備える内燃機関を制御する。制御装置は、エンジン停止過程において、エンジン停止状態を保持する力を増大させる保持力増大処理を実行する。この保持力増大処理において、制御装置は、保持力増大処理の開始時に吸気行程が到来する気筒については、排気上死点付近で吸排気弁を閉弁停止状態に制御し、圧縮行程が到来する気筒については、吸排気弁の閉弁停止状態を保持し、膨張行程が到来する気筒については、吸排気弁の閉弁停止状態を保持し、排気行程が到来する気筒については、膨張下死点付近で吸排気弁を閉弁停止状態に制御する。【選択図】図２
