To provide an endoscope comprising an optical assembly using a shape-memory material, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an optical assembly (12) of an endoscope, an endoscope comprising the optical assembly, a method for producing the optical assembly, and the use of a shape-memory material for manufacturing an objective tube (16) of the optical assembly. The optical assembly includes: an objective tube; and at least one optical element (18) held in the objective tube.
