Zusammenfassung:To provide a shock resistance wear component excellent in durability, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A ripper shank 10 served as a shock resistance wear component consists of steel having a hardness of 53 HRC or more and 57 HRC or less and having a specific component composition. The steel includes: a parent phase including a martensitic phase and a retained austenite phase; and first nonmetal grains dispersed in the parent phase and including at least one kind selected from a group consisting of MnS, TiCN and NbCN.
