However, when biometric authentication is not established, a failure notification section 34 notifies a user of the failure through an electronic key 3. The user receiving the notification conducts authentication accompanied by operation of the electronic key 3. An actuation permitting section 36 permits start-up of the engine 7 although the biometric authentication is not established, when determining that authentication is established based on operation of the electronic key 3 by the user with a will.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】生体認証が不成立であることを判断でき、さらに生体認証不成立下でも機器の作動の許可又は実行に移行することができる生体認証併用電子キーシステムを提供する。【解決手段】照合ECU4は、キー照合及び生体認証が成立することを確認すると、エンジン7の始動を許可する。一方、生体認証が不成立となるとき、不成立通知部34は、その旨を電子キー3を通じてユーザに通知する。この通知を受けたユーザは、電子キー3の操作を伴った認証を行う。作動許可部36は、ユーザが意志を持って電子キー3を操作することに基づく認証が成立することを確認すると、生体認証が不成立であってもエンジン7の始動を許可する。【選択図】図1 |
