To provide a printer capable of preventing coexisting of printed matter and allowing a user to obtain desired printed matter in the printer performing offset paper discharge and receiving interruption processing of a printing job.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a printing processing section 30 which performs printing processing; a paper discharge section 40 which performs offset paper discharge; and a control section 60 which controls the printing processing section and the offset paper discharge section on the basis of an input printing job. When the control section 60 receives an input of interruption processing of a second printing job during the printing processing and the offset paper discharge on the basis of a first printing job, the printing processing of the second printing job is started in the middle of printing of a unit set of the first printing job when the second printing job has odd numbers of copies.
