Zusammenfassung:To solve the problems that when a winding core provided in a coil component is structured by a magnetic powder sinter body, as a miniaturization of the coil component is progressed, a mechanical strength of the winding core is decreased, particularly, breakage easily occurs in a coupling part of a flange part in a winding core part.SOLUTION: A coil component comprises: a winding core 23 having a winding core part 22, a first flange part 24, and a second flange part 25; and a plate-like core 26 having a main face 27 opposite to the winding core part 22, the first flange part 24, and the second flange part 25, and fixed to the winding core 23 via an adhesion agent 28 in a state where it is hung between the first flange part 24 and the second flange part 25. In a coil component 21, the first flange part 24 and the second flange part 25 have top faces 29A and 29B which are opposite to the main face 27 of the plate-like core 26, respectively, and the top faces 29A and 29B are provided with concave parts 43A and 43B, respectively.
