Zusammenfassung:	To provide a control device capable of performing appropriate AF control while suppressing deterioration in a consecutive photographing speed.SOLUTION: A control device (100) includes: a reading unit (3) for reading a pupil division signal from a focus detection region of an imaging element (2), and for reading an image signal from a region other than the focus detection region of the imaging element (2); and a control unit (12) for controlling the reading unit.
