To provide a hot water storage-type water heater that comprises a frame member capable of permitting an outer casing to be dented and suppressing a decrease in strength of an exterior case.SOLUTION: A hot water storage-type water heater includes an exterior case in which a plurality of outer casings are fixed to a frame member constituted by combining a plurality of supports with a plurality of crosspieces, and auxiliary equipment and piping, which are provided within the exterior case. At least one of the outer casings comprises a protrusion that protrudes into the exterior case.
