Zusammenfassung:	To provide a glass composition as a composition comprising soda lime silicate glass, which is excellent in blocking characteristics of ultraviolet ray transmission and has a moderate visible light transmittance, and to provide a glass plate which is a relatively thin glass plate composed of the glass composition, and which may substantially prevent transmission of ultraviolet ray from sunlight when it is used as a vehicle glass window.SOLUTION: There is provided a glass plate in which soda-lime glass is used as a basic glass composition and which is composed of a glass composition containing iron oxide and TiO2 as coloring components. The UV-shielding glass plate has a thickness of 1 to 5 mm, and a UV transmittance (Tuv380) of 1.5% or less under ISO9050:1990.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明は、ソーダライムシリケートガラスからなる組成物であって、紫外線の透過の阻止特性に優れ、中程度の可視光透過率を備えるガラス組成物、及びそのガラス組成物からなる比較的薄いガラス板であって、車両用ガラス窓に用いて、太陽光からの紫外線の透過を実質的に阻止できるガラス板を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ソーダ石灰ガラスを基礎ガラス組成とし、着色成分として酸化鉄及びＴｉＯ2を含むガラス組成物からなるガラス板であって、厚さ１〜５ｍｍであり、その厚さにおけるＩＳＯ９０５０：１９９０に規定される紫外線透過率（Ｔｕｖ３８０）が１．５％以下である、紫外線遮蔽ガラス板。【選択図】なし
