To improve sealability between a manifold and a fuel battery cell.SOLUTION: A cell stack device 100 comprises a manifold 2, a fuel battery cell 10, a first position regulating member 70, a second position regulating member 80 and a joint material 106. The fuel battery cell 10 extends from a top board 231. The fuel battery cell 10 also has a base end face 103, a first side face 104 and a second side face 105. The base end face 103 faces the top board 231. The first position regulating member 70 is fixed to the top board 231 and faces the first side face 104. The second position regulating member 80 is fixed to the top board 231 spaced with the first position regulating member 70 in a width direction. The second position regulating member 80 faces the second side face 105. The joint material 106 joins the top board 231 and the fuel battery cell 10.
