Zusammenfassung:To make an image sensor of high reading speed easy to use.SOLUTION: An image signal processing apparatus includes: an original image signal receiving section for receiving an original image signal including a plurality of frames from an imaging section; a transmission image signal generating section for generating a transmission image signal including frames of smaller number than the plurality of frames included in the original image signal received by the original image signal receiving section, with reference to the original image signal, and a transmission image signal transmitting section for transmitting a transmission image signal, generated in the transmission image signal generating section, to an external image processing circuit via a signal transmission path.
