OIL FILTER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

To provide an oil filter and a manufacturing method of the same which can easily and inexpensively enhance a rust prevention property of an end plate.SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of an oil filter 1 includes: a cleaning process S1 of cleaning an end plate 4 by using a degreasing agent containing a sodium compound; an assembling process S2 of assembling a casing 2, a filter element 3, and the cleaned endplate to obtain an assembly 20; a coating process S3 of coating an outer surface of the casing of the assembly; and a drying process S4 of heating and drying the coated surface of the casing of the assembly. In the drying process, a rust preventive coating film 5 is formed containing triiron tetraoxide on the outer surface of the end plate by blocking the outer surface 4a of the end plate from outside air and heating and drying in a state that a closed space 22 communicating with an internal space S of the casing is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】エンドプレートの防錆性を容易且つ安価に高めることができるオイルフィルタ及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本オイルフィルタ１の製造方法は、ナトリウム化合物を含む脱脂剤を用いてエンドプレート４を洗浄する洗浄工程Ｓ１と、ケーシング２、フィルタエレメント３及び洗浄されたエンドプレートを組付けて組付体２０を得る組付工程Ｓ２と、組付体のケーシングの外表面を塗装する塗装工程Ｓ３と、組付体のケーシングの塗装面を加熱乾燥する乾燥工程Ｓ４と、を備える。そして、乾燥工程は、エンドプレートの外表面４ａを外気から遮断し且つケーシングの内部空間Ｓに連通する閉鎖空間２２を形成した状態で加熱乾燥することで、エンドプレートの外表面に四三酸化鉄からなる防錆被膜５を形成する。【選択図】図５
