Zusammenfassung:To provide a technology capable of detecting failure occurring in a fuel cell accurately by using a measured value of impedance.SOLUTION: A fuel cell monitoring device includes an impedance measurement section for measuring the impedance of each fuel battery cell, and the impedance of the whole fuel cell stack, a water content estimation section for calculating a water content estimation value of each fuel battery cell by using a gas diffusion resistance obtained from the measurement results of impedance of each fuel battery cell, and calculating a water content estimation value indicating the water content of each fuel battery cell by using the gas diffusion resistance obtained from the measurement results of impedance of the whole fuel cell stack, and a determination section for detecting at least one of occurrence of deterioration of catalyst contained in the fuel battery cell, or occurrence of distribution failure of reaction gas for the fuel battery cell, by determining the magnitude of the water content estimation value to the water content reference estimation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】インピーダンスの計測値を用いて燃料電池に生じている不良を的確に検出できる技術を提供する。【解決手段】燃料電池監視装置は、燃料電池セルごとのインピーダンスと、前記燃料電池スタック全体のインピーダンスと、を計測するインピーダンス計測部と、前記燃料電池セルごとのインピーダンスの計測結果から求めたガス拡散抵抗を用いて前記燃料電池セルごとの含水量推定値を算出し、前記燃料電池スタック全体のインピーダンスの計測結果から求めたガス拡散抵抗を用いて前記燃料電池セルごとの含水量を表す含水量推定値を算出する含水量推定部と、前記含水量基準推定値に対する前記含水量推定値の大きさを判定することにより、前記燃料電池セルに含まれる触媒の劣化の発生、または、前記燃料電池セルに対する反応ガスの分配不良の発生、のうちの少なくとも一方を検出する判定部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
