To provide a sensor device for scanning a magnetic scale.SOLUTION: A sensor device includes a detector pattern for sensing a magnetic field disposed on a substrate 2, a conductor substrate 3, and a housing 4. The substrate 2 is fixed onto a first surface of the conductor substrate 3 such that the substrate 2 is disposed between the detector pattern and the conductor substrate 3. In order to precisely position the detector pattern relative to the housing 4, the first surface has at least one partial surface that projects to a side of the substrate 2 to be arranged.
