Nth compressors successively from a compressor of a low-pressure stage; closing a suction-side cutoff valve 11 at a suction side of a first compressor 3 when stopping a compression step; then stopping the first compressor 3 when a stop condition predetermined for the first compressor 3 is satisfied; stopping a second compressor 5 when a stop condition predetermined for the second compressor 5 is satisfied after the stop of the first compressor 3; stopping the compressors successively from the low-pressure stage similarly thereafter; and closing a discharge-side cutoff valve 29 of the Nth compressor after stop of the Nth compressor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】配管等の新たな機器等を必要とせず、排気量を可及的に少なくして簡易に圧縮工程停止後の高圧ガスの処理ができる多段高圧ガス圧縮装置の運転方法、多段高圧ガス圧縮装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る多段高圧ガス圧縮装置の運転方法は、複数台のガス圧縮機を、低圧段の圧縮機から順に第1、第2、・・第N圧縮機とし、圧縮工程の停止時において、第1圧縮機3の吸い込み側の吸込側遮断弁11を閉止し、その後、第1圧縮機3について予め定めた停止条件が満たされたときに第1圧縮機3を停止し、該第1圧縮機3の停止後、第2圧縮機5について予め定めた停止条件が満たされた時に第2圧縮機5を停止し、以後同様にして、各圧縮機を低圧段側から順次停止し、第N圧縮機を停止後に第N圧縮機の吐出側遮断弁29を閉止するようにしたことを特徴とするものである。【選択図】 図1 |
