The tool holding part 30 has plural tools Tx of which a tip is oriented in an X-axis direction, and which include a cut-off bite Bd for performing cutting-off for a work-piece W. The detector 40 detects that a contact part 41 and the work-piece W held by a work-piece holding part contact each other in the X-axis direction. The control means controls a relative position of the work-piece W held by the work-piece holding part and the tool holding part 30. The control means determines whether cutting-off is performed or not on the basis of the detection result of the detector 40, and corrects thermal displacement in the X-axis direction on the basis of the detection result of the detector 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】突切り検出と熱変位補正とを共通の検出部を用いて行うことができるとともに、熱変位補正の精度が良好な工作機械を提供する。【解決手段】工作機械は、工具保持部30と、検出部40と、制御手段とを備える。工具保持部30は、X軸方向に先端が向き、ワークWに対して突切り加工を行うための突切りバイトBdを含む複数の工具Txを有する。検出部40は、接触部41とワーク保持部に保持されたワークWとがX軸方向において接触したことを検出する。制御手段は、ワーク保持部に保持されたワークWと工具保持部30との相対位置を制御する。制御手段は、検出部40の検出結果に基づいて突切り加工がなされているか否かを判別し、検出部40の検出結果に基づいてX軸方向の熱変位を補正する。【選択図】図4 |
