HARMFUL ANIMAL INTRUSION PREVENTION SYSTEM

To provide a harmful animal intrusion prevention system capable of allowing a pedestrian and a vehicle to pass through an entrance smoothly while preventing a harmful animal from intruding from the entrance of an electric fence.SOLUTION: An electric fence 12 is provided that zones an area into a harmful animal inhabitation area YA and a protection area HA. The electric fence 12 includes entrances 14 for a road ND for the traffic between the inside and the outside, and gate devices 16 are installed at the entrances 14. The gate device 16 includes an opening/closing member 18, electric shock means for giving electric shock to a harmful animal that comes in contact with the opening/closing member 18, and a drive mechanism 20 for executing opening/closing drive for the opening/closing member 18. The gate device includes a first passerby detection device 22 for detecting a person approaching the entrance 14 from the protection area HA side while distinguishing the person from a harmful animal, a second passerby detection device 24 for detecting a person approaching the entrance 14 from the harmful animal inhabitation area YA side while distinguishing the person from a harmful animal, and a control device 26 for controlling an operation of the drive mechanism 20 on the basis of results of the detection by the first and second passerby detection devices 22 and 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】有害獣が電気柵の通行口から侵入するのを防止しつつ、歩行者や自動車が通行口をスムーズに通行できる有害獣侵入防止システムを提供する。【解決手段】有害獣生息エリアＹＡと保護エリアＨＡとを区画する電気柵１２を備える。電気柵１２は、内外通行道路ＮＤを通すための通行口１４を有し、通行口１４にゲート装置１６が設置される。ゲート装置１６は、開閉部材１８と、開閉部材１８に接触した有害獣に電気衝撃を与える電撃手段と、開閉部材１８を開閉駆動する駆動機構２０とを備える。保護エリアＨＡ側から通行口１４に近づく人間を、有害獣とは区別して検出可能な第１の通行者検出装置２２と、有害獣生息エリアＹＡ側から通行口１４に近づく人間を、有害獣とは区別して検出可能な第２の通行者検出装置２４とを備える。第１及び第２の通行者検出装置２２，２４の検出結果に基づいて駆動機構２０の動作を制御する制御装置２６を備える。【選択図】図２
