To provide a heating cooker which achieves excellent cooking performance and has high safety.SOLUTION: A heating cooker 100 includes: a heating chamber 2 opening forward; a burner 30 which heats a cooked object placed in the heating chamber 2; a thermo-couple 8 which is exposed to the interior of the heating chamber 2 so as to face a burner port 35 of the burner 30 and detects a combustion flame formed at the burner port 35; a first cover material 5 which covers an entire exposed part of the thermo-couple 8 exposed to the interior of the heating chamber 2 from the opposite side of the burner side and extends to the inner side of the heating chamber further than a tip part 81 of the exposed part of the thermo-couple 8 in an extending direction of the thermo-couple 8; and a second cover material 7 which covers a root part 83 of the exposed part of the thermo-couple 8 exposed to the interior of the heating chamber 2 from the burner side.
