Zusammenfassung:To provide a power conversion device that suppresses a surge voltage to a switching element.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 10 is connected between DC buses 3a and 3b and consumes a regenerative power flowing through the DC buses 3a and 3b. The power conversion device 10 includes a switching element 12, a resistor 14 connected in series with the switching element 12 between the DC buses 3a and 3b, and a diode 13 that is connected in parallel to the resistor 14 and returns a reverse voltage due to the parasitic inductance of the resistor 14.
