BREATHER DEVICE FOR VEHICLE TRANSMISSION CASE

To provide a breather device for a vehicle transmission case, which has a structure capable of suppressing oil from flowing into a breather chamber through an oil discharge hole.SOLUTION: A protrusion 56 is formed at one end of a cover plate 50 so as to cover an oil discharge hole 42 and project toward a vehicle lower side at a predetermined distance from an inner wall 20. The protrusion 56 is formed so that a gap D from the inner wall 20 becomes smaller as it gets farther from the oil discharge hole 42. As a result, the oil scattered in a case 12 is suppressed from flowing into a breather chamber 60 via the oil discharge hole 42 by the protrusion 56. Moreover, when the oil flows through the gap D between the protrusion 56 and the inner wall 20, flow velocity of the oil flowing through the gap D between the protrusion 56 and the inner wall 20 is reduced, whereby the oil is suppressed from reaching the oil discharge hole 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】油排出孔を介してブリーザ室内にオイルが流入することを抑制することができる構造を備えた車両用変速機ケースのブリーザ装置を提供する。【解決手段】カバープレート５０の一端部には、油排出孔４２を覆い且つ内部壁２０に対して所定の間隔を隔てて車両下方側へ突き出す突出部５６が形成され、突出部５６は、油排出孔４２から離れるほど内部壁２０との間隙Ｄが小さくなるように形成されている。これにより、ケース１２内を飛散させられるオイルは、突出部５６によって油排出孔４２を介してブリーザ室６０に流入することが抑制され、且つオイルが突出部５６と内部壁２０との間隙Ｄを流通する場合には、突出部５６と内部壁２０との間隙Ｄを流通するオイルの流速が低下させられて油排出孔４２に到達することが抑制される。【選択図】図２
