Zusammenfassung:To provide an object recognition device capable of improving recognition precision for a circumferential object and a vehicle controller using the same, and an object recognition method and a vehicle control method using the same.SOLUTION: A data reception part 2 receives object data as a state value of a circumferential object from a first sensor 1 which detects the circumferential object. A prediction processing part 3 compares, by a low-resolution state determination part 5, prediction data predicting a state value of the object with the object data that the data reception part 2 receives based upon recognition data calculated in a past cycle so as to determine whether the object data is data on a low-resolution state. A recognition processing part 6 calculates, according to a determination result thereof, a state value of the object using the object data and prediction data to obtain recognition data on the object, thereby improving recognition precision for the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】周辺の物体に対する認識精度を向上させる物体認識装置およびこれを用いた車両制御装置並びに物体認識方法およびこれを用いた車両制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】周辺の物体を検出する第1のセンサ1から、物体の状態値である物体データをデータ受信部2が受信し、低分解能状態判定部5により、予測処理部3が過去の周期で算出された認識データに基づき、物体の状態値を予測した予測データと、データ受信部2が受信した物体データとを比較し、物体データが、低分解能状態のデータであるか否かを判定して、その判定結果に応じて、認識処理部6が、物体データおよび予測データを用いて物体の状態値を算出して、この物体の認識データとすることにより、物体の認識精度を上げるようにした。【選択図】図1
