SEAT STRUCTURE AND CHAIR

To prevent a peripheral part of a skin material covering a seat from being exposed without using any other additional components such as a cover member.SOLUTION: A seat structure has a seat plate 10, a cushion member 12 supported by the seat plate 10, and a skin material 13 covering the cushion member 12, and fits the skin material 13 by the peripheral part being narrowed down by a fastening string 14 provided for the peripheral part of the skin material 13 being fastened. A housing groove 15 which houses the peripheral part of the skin material 13 narrowed down and gradually deflated as the fastening string 14 is fastened by causing the peripheral part to enter into it, and hides the peripheral part and the fastening string 14 so that their appearances are not exposed is provided on a back surface side of a seat 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】カバー部材などの追加的な他の部品を用いることなく座を覆う表皮材の周縁部を露出させないようにすることができるようにする。【解決手段】座板１０と当該座板１０に支持されるクッション部材１２と当該クッション部材１２を被覆する表皮材１３とを有して表皮材１３の周縁部に備えられる締付け紐１４が引き締められることによって周縁部が絞られて表皮材１３が取り付けられる座の構造であり、締付け紐１４の引き締めに伴って絞られて次第に窄められる表皮材１３の周縁部を入り込ませて収容して前記周縁部及び締付け紐１４を外観に露出させないように隠す収容溝１５が座１の裏面側に設けられるようにした。【選択図】図９
