Zusammenfassung:To provide a technique capable of contributing to the maintainability and monitoring continuity of a monitoring device.SOLUTION: Each battery A1 or A2 of a power supply unit A is connected to a control unit D in an electrically connectable and dis-connectable manner by an open/close switch A11 or A21. The control unit D includes: an open/close operation function unit D1 for performing open/close operation on each open/close switch A11 or A21; a power supply management function unit D2 for detecting the state of the power supply unit A with respect to the control unit D; a measuring unit detection function unit D3 for detecting data measured by a measuring unit B; and a communication function unit D4 for transmitting detection data detected by the power supply management function unit D2 and the measuring unit detection function unit D3 to a higher network 2 via a communication unit C.
