In the power supply device, the battery unit includes: a detection unit 112 provided for each of a plurality of batteries connected in parallel and for detecting a state of the battery; and a control unit 130 for controlling the connector. The control unit determines whether any one of the batteries has failed on the basis of a state of the battery detected by the detection unit.
