Zusammenfassung:To provide a charging device capable of suppressing coolant leakage from a connection part between a coolant passage at an electric vehicle side and a coolant passage at a charging device side and damage of the connection part.SOLUTION: A charging device configured to charge a battery 11 mounted in an electric vehicle 10 from an external power source capable of supplying power from an outside of the electric vehicle 10 comprises: a battery cooling unit 50 including a device side coolant passage 51 which is provided the outside of the electric vehicle 10 and in which a coolant flows, and a pressure reduction pump 55 configured to reduce a pressure in the device side coolant passage 51, and being configured to cool the battery 11 while charging the battery 11; and a control device 22 configured to execute a coolant circulation mode in which the coolant is circulated through the device side coolant passage 51 to a vehicle side coolant passage 14 which is provided in the electric vehicle 10 and in which the coolant flows, and a coolant collection mode for collecting the coolant from the vehicle side coolant passage 14 by reducing the pressure in the device side coolant passage 51 by the pressure reduction pump 55 after the coolant circulation mode execution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】電動車両側の冷媒流路と充電装置側の冷媒流路との接続部からの冷媒漏れおよび当該接続部の損傷を抑制できる充電装置を提供する。【解決手段】電動車両10の外部より電力供給可能な外部電源から電動車両10に搭載されたバッテリ11を充電する充電装置において、電動車両10の外部に設けられるとともに冷媒が流通する装置側冷媒流路51と、装置側冷媒流路51を減圧する減圧ポンプ55とを有するとともに、バッテリ11を充電している間にバッテリ11を冷却するバッテリ冷却部50と、電動車両10に設けられるとともに冷媒が流通する車両側冷媒流路14に装置側冷媒流路51を介して冷媒を循環させる冷媒循環モード、および、冷媒循環モード実行後に減圧ポンプ55によって装置側冷媒流路51を減圧することにより車両側冷媒流路14から冷媒を回収する冷媒回収モードを実行可能に構成された制御装置22と、を備える。【選択図】図2
