HOT WATER SYSTEM AND EXTERNAL SERVER

To provide a hot water system capable of reducing the burden of maintenance work and preventing erroneous orders and omission of orders.SOLUTION: A hot water system 1 includes: an external server 2; and a hot water supply device 4 connected to the external server 2 via a network 3. The hot water supply device 4 includes control means configured to be able to transmit hot water supply operation information including a burning time and the number of times of burning of the hot water supply device 4 to the external server 2. The external server 2 includes replacement determining means that calculates replacement time of hot water supply components for performing hot water supply operation constituting the hot water supply device 4 on the basis of the transmitted hot water supply operation information and determines whether to need replacement.
