Zusammenfassung: | To solve the problem in which there are conventionally image formation devices that are equipped with a neutralization device irradiating a post-transformed photoreceptor drum with neutralization light for neutralizing a surface of the photoreceptor drum, but charging potential is partially short due to an effect of the neutralization, and there are cases where a density difference or vertical black stripe occurs upon printing.SOLUTION: An image formation unit comprises: a photoreceptor drum 13; a charging roller 14 that charges a surface of the photoreceptor drum 13; an exposure device 15 that forms an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the charged photoreceptor drum 13; a developing roller 16 that develops the electrostatic latent image; a transform roller 17 that transforms a toner image held in the photoreceptor drum 13 to a recording medium 30; a neutralization device 36 that irradiates the surface of the post-transformed photoreceptor drum 13 with neutralization light and neutralizes the surface thereof; and a neutralization control unit 149 that controls the irradiation of the neutralization light by the neutralization device 36. The neutralization control unit 149 is configured to set an irradiation region in a main scan direction in accordance with a width and resistance value in the main scan direction of the printing recording medium 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】従来、転写後の感光体ドラムの表面を除電するため、感光体ドラムに除電光を照射する除電装置を備える画像形成装置があるが、除電の効果により、部分的に帯電電位が不足し、印刷時に濃度段差や縦黒スジが発生する場合があった。【解決手段】感光体ドラム13と、感光体ドラム13の表面を帯電する帯電ローラ14と、帯電された感光体ドラム13の表面に静電潜像を形成する露光装置15と、静電潜像を現像する現像ローラ16と、感光体ドラム13に保持されたトナー像を記録媒体30に転写する転写ローラ17と、転写後の感光体ドラム13の表面に除電光を照射して除電する除電装置36と、除電装置36による除電光の照射を制御する除電制御部149とを備え、除電制御部149は、印刷する記録媒体30の、主走査方向の幅及び抵抗値に応じて、主走査方向における照射領域を設定する。【選択図】図1 |
