Zusammenfassung:To provide a fuel pump control device capable of reducing the number of times that a relay is turned on and off and detecting idling.SOLUTION: A fuel pump control device comprises information acquisition sections (S10, S12, S22 and S26), lower limit guard setting sections (S14, S16 and S18), a duty ratio calculation section (S20), and abnormality determination sections (S24 and S28). The information acquisition sections acquire information on actual fuel pressure, indicated fuel pressure, an engine status and a residual fuel amount. The lower limit guard setting sections set a lower limit guard value in accordance with an operation state and set a duty ratio at 0% when the operation state shows an engine stop with an ignition switch turned on. The duty ratio calculation section calculates the duty ratio by executing feedback control so that the actual fuel pressure follows the indicated fuel pressure while using the lower limit guard value. The abnormality determination sections determine occurrence of abnormality with a distinction between the abnormality due to breaking of a power supply line and the abnormality in idling of a fuel pump due to fuel shortage on the basis of the residual fuel amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】リレーのオンオフ回数を低減でき、空転を検出できる燃料ポンプ制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】燃料ポンプ制御装置は、情報取得部(S10,S12,S22,S26)と、下限ガード設定部(S14,S16,S18)と、デューティ比算出部(S20)と、異常判定部(S24,S28)を備える。情報取得部は、実燃圧、指示燃圧及びエンジンステータス、及び残燃料に関する情報を取得する。下限ガード設定部は、動作状態に応じて下限ガード値を設定し、動作状態がイグニッションスイッチのオンの下でのエンジン停止を示す場合にデューティ比0%を設定する。デューティ比算出部は、下限ガード値を用いつつ、実燃圧が指示燃圧に追従するようにフィードバック制御を実行し、デューティ比を算出する。異常判定部は、残燃料に基づいて、電源供給ラインの断線異常及び燃料不足による燃料ポンプの空転異常のいずれが生じているかを区別して判定する。【選択図】図3
