Zusammenfassung:	To provide an airbag device which enables an airbag to expand stably while increasing a bag capacity and a protection range of the airbag.SOLUTION: In an airbag device, an airbag 101 is stored in an airbag storing door trim 40a at the vehicle cabin inner side which is disposed below a triangle window 12. When expansion gas is supplied to the airbag 101 by an inflator 102, an opening of the triangle window 12 is formed by expansion force of the airbag 101. Then, the air bag 101 expands and inflates from the vehicle cabin inner side to the vehicle cabin outer side through the opening toward the front surface side of the front pillar 5 while engaging with the front pillar 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】エアバッグのバッグ容量及び保護範囲を大きくしながらも、安定してエアバッグを展開させるエアバッグ装置を提供する。【解決手段】エアバッグ装置は、三角窓１２の下方に配置された車室内側のエアバッグ格納用ドアトリム４０ａに、エアバッグ１０１を格納する。そして、エアバッグ１０１は、インフレータ１０２により膨張ガスが供給されると、エアバッグ１０１の膨張力により三角窓１２の開口部を形成させ、開口部を経由して車室内側から車室外側へと、フロントピラー５に係止しながら、フロントピラー５の前面側に展開して膨張する。【選択図】図５
