IN-WHEEL MOTOR TYPE VEHICLE DRIVE DEVICE

To provide an in-wheel motor type vehicle drive device that can suppress deterioration of engagement between a motor gear and a ling gear.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device 100 comprises: a drive shaft D1 provided at a wheel W2 of a traveling wheel W to transmit driving force to the wheel; three or more induction motors 1 each including a motor gear 12 provided with an outer gear 12a and generating the driving force for driving the traveling wheel, the induction motors 1 being along a circumferential direction of the drive shaft and at least some of the three or more induction motors being arranged in an inner space N of the wheel; and a ring gear 50 which is driven by engagement with the respective motor gears of the three or more induction motors to thereby drive the drive shaft.
