【課題】トナーにキャリアを混合する混合部から供給部側へ移送する通路の通路幅が一定の場合と比較して、現像ロールからのトナーこぼれを抑制することができる画像形成装置の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】トナーを供給する為のトナー供給部及びトナーより比重が大きいキャリアが含まれた現像剤を投入する為の投入部が上流側から順に設けられ、キャリアとトナーとを混合した現像剤を下流側へ移送する混合部と、該混合部から移送された現像剤が通過する通路と、該通路より移送された現像剤を現像ロールに供給する供給部と、前記通路を通過する現像剤のトナー濃度の上昇に伴って当該通路の通過量を抑制する抑制部材と、を備えた画像形成装置である。【選択図】図７ |
