To provide an article holding structure capable of holding an article to be easily noticed when holding the article such as a flier and a pamphlet.SOLUTION: An article holding structure 1 holds an article between a back face 4 of a backrest of a passenger seat and a holder 5 mounted on the back face 4. The article holding structure 1 is provided to mainly plan to hold papers of an A4 size. The holder 5 has a bottom plate 51 which crosses the back face 4 and extends in a horizontal direction, a pair of side plates 53L and 53R which extend above from each of both ends in a longitudinal direction of the bottom plate 51 and cross the back face 4, and a pair of pressing sections 54L and 54R which extend in a mutually approaching direction from an upper half section of each of the pair of side plates 53L and 53R and are opposed to the back face 4. A portion between the pair of pressing sections 54L and 54R is opened and is provided with nothing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】チラシやパンフレット等の物品を保持する際、当該物品を注目され易いように保持することができる物品保持構造を提供する。【解決手段】物品保持構造１は、旅客用シートの背凭れの背面４と、この背面４に取り付けられた保持具５との間に物品を保持する構造である。また、物品保持構造１は、主に、Ａ４サイズのペーパー類を保持することを予定して設けられている。保持具５は、背面４に交差するとともに水平方向に延びた底板５１と、底板５１の長手方向両端部それぞれから上方に延びるとともに背面４に交差する一対の側板５３Ｌ，５３Ｒと、一対の側板５３Ｌ，５３Ｒそれぞれの上半部から互いに近付く方向に延びるとともに背面４と対向する一対の押さえ部５４Ｌ，５４Ｒと、を有している。一対の押さえ部５４Ｌ，５４Ｒ間は開放されており、何も設けられていない。【選択図】図２
