Zusammenfassung:To provide a water quality improvement device that uses a natural energy and is compact in its entirety despite having a sedimentation tank and a biofilm tank.SOLUTION: There is provided a water quality improvement device, including: a gutter-shaped frame that is arranged so that the whole body is formed in a shape of a substantially square and is symmetrical in front and back and left and right in plan view; a pumping device for pumping water in a closed water area by wind power; and an aeration device for mixing water with air and injecting it into the closed water area. A waterway formed by the frame includes: a cross waterway portion which is arranged at a center and forms a cross portion in the shape of the substantially square of the frame body; and a substantially braided waterway portion forming four meshes defined by orthogonal center lines of the cross waterway portion. The cross waterway portion is used as a biofilm tank having a microbial carrier on the surface of which a biofilm is formed, and the four substantially square-shaped waterway portions are used as sedimentation tanks for sedimenting and removing suspended sludge from the pumped water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明は,沈殿槽と生物膜槽を有しながらも装置全体がコンパクトで,かつ自然エネルギーを利用した水質改善装置を提供する。【解決手段】全体が平面視において前後左右対称の略田の字状となるように配設された樋状の枠体と,前記閉鎖水域の水を風力で揚水する揚水装置と,水を空気と混合して前記閉鎖水域に噴射する曝気装置備え,該枠体により形成される水路が,中央に配置され前記枠体の略田の字内の十字部分を形成する十字水路部と,前記十字水路部の直交する中心線で画定する4つの枡目を形成する略口字状水路部を有し,前記十字水路部を,表面に生物膜が形成される微生物担体を内部に有する生物膜槽とし,前記4つの略口字状水路部を,揚水した水の浮遊汚泥を沈殿させて除去する沈殿槽とした水質改善装置。【選択図】図1
