To provide a watch that has a jumping restriction lever holding mechanism in a configuration that can be checked in a state where a gear and a jumping restriction lever mesh with each other before the completion of assembling, while achieving space saving.SOLUTION: A watch comprises: a dial; a gear 43 that is arranged on the back side of the dial; a jumping restriction lever 8 that meshes with the gear 43; holding means 9 that holds the meshing between the jumping restriction lever 8 and the gear 43; and releasing means that releases a state of holding of the jumping restriction lever 8 performed by the holding means 9. The releasing means includes a pressing part that presses the holding means 9. The holding means 9 includes a pressed part 93 that is pressed by the releasing means to release the held state. The releasing means is a plate-like member 45 that regulates a movement in an axial direction of the gear 43 and is arranged closer to the dial than the gear 43.
